“Through yoga with Abbie I have been able to improve both my mental and physical edge whilst competing on the International Showjumping circuit. Yoga is the perfect supplement to my busy riding schedule, I have improved my strength and flexibility levels as well as improved balance to give my horses the best riding experience possible. “Abbie has transformed me from a complete beginner yogi to a fully competent practitioner. Yoga 1-2-1s help me overcome a number of common equestrian imbalances, including tight IT band, hamstring and adductor muscles. In particular, I have suffered with lower back pain my whole life and yoga has been instrumental keeping me fit & healthy in the saddle. My strength & flexibility has improved and I am planning to use yoga to rehab my broken heel and ensure I get back to full fitness. Abbie teaches a class that is suitable for all levels which flows beautifully between postures, all of which help towards the more challenging aspects that Abbie encourages everyone to try. Abbie explains the purpose of each posture so each person can ensure they are working correctly but in a way that is right for them. Since attending Abbie’s classes I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my own flexibility.
